Who we are

Saint Mary is a Byzantine Ruthenian Catholic parish of the Eparchy of Passaic, NJ which numbers 92 parishes and stretches from Connecticut to Florida along the US East Coast. Our founders, over 100 years ago, were mostly immigrants from Central and Eastern Europe who worshipped in a Byzantine tradition. The Byzantine Catholic Church is in full communion with Holy Father, Francis Pope of Rome. In October 2017 St. Mary's celebrated its hundred's anniversary. We are excited to have you join the team!

Our Mission

St. Mary's aims at gathering together those who wish to worship God "in spirit and in truth" (John 4:24) in the Byzantine tradition. We strive to grow in Faith, to promote the Gospel of Jesus, to extend assistance to those in need, and to spread the Lord's love through our parish and ministry.
